Brian Cano Sr. is a Phoenix native and the owner and publisher of Tysonomo Multimedia, a digital-first newsroom focused on fact-based reporting that makes federal cases and public safety information accessible to local communities.
A graduate of Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication, Cano covers Department of Justice investigations, federal court proceedings and government accountability stories across the country, with an emphasis on how decisions affect everyday people.
Before entering journalism, Cano worked as a golf professional and club baseball coach, experience he says instilled discipline, preparation and respect for the communities he now serves.
Through Tysonomo Multimedia, he has built a reputation for clear attribution, verifiable sourcing and consistent coverage of underreported cases. His work aims to inform residents, strengthen civic understanding and contribute to responsible public dialogue.
